By signing up to Ozone, you’ve read and understood the Privacy Policy, General Terms, Information and Service Terms for your specific Ozone pricing plan.


The following Terms and Conditions of use apply to all WiFi services provided by Ozone.


Pre-Paid Subscription:


Customers must have or create a valid Ozone account in order to benefit from the subscription service.


Standard payment Terms and Conditions apply.


Subscription services are provided on a 6 month term.


The subscription service provides each customer with a per minute data allowance per validity period on any Ozone site on the Maltese islands.


Customers must accept and comply with Ozone’s terms of use and individual sites.


Ozone are unable to offer any ‘cooling off period’ on this product. Therefore once an order has been placed and the account is activated, standard charges will always apply and can not be reversed.


Prepaid Scratch cards:

Customers must have or create a valid Ozone account in order to benefit from the scratch card service.

Prepaid scratch cards are available from Ozone and any of their authorized partners.


Where a purchase is made directly from Ozone or their partners, standard payment Terms and Conditions apply.


Scratch cards are not to be sold outside of the Maltese Islands.


Scratch cards are not for re-sale by unauthorized parties.


Scratch cards provide a time limited service depending on the denomination of card purchased. Scratch card accounts can be 'topped up' by credit card from the users' account page.


End-users must accept and comply with Ozone’s terms of use and individual sites.


Due to the nature of the product, Ozone are unable to offer any ‘cooling off period’ on this product. Once a scratch card has been 'scratched', Ozone will not be able refund any cards or 'topped up' accounts.


Provision of the service

Ozone will provide the Service to the Customer on the Terms of this Contract.

As the OZONE hotspots use Wi-Fi radio frequencies, we cannot guarantee the same coverage and level of service in all areas. Although we do our best at all times to provide high density coverage in our hotspot areas, due to certain geographies and building materials in these areas, Wi-Fi signals do tend to vary.

Ozone will use reasonable endeavors to provide the Service by the date agreed with the Customer, but all dates are estimates and Ozone has no liability for any failure to meet any date.

Ozone will provide the Service with the reasonable skill and care of a competent Telecommunications Service Provider.

Ozone will employ reasonable efforts to provide an uninterrupted service but from time to time faults may occur, which Ozone will repair as soon as is reasonably practicable.

Occasionally Ozone may temporarily suspend the Service due to an emergency, operational maintenance or system improvements. Service will be restored as soon as reasonably practicable.

Before carrying out any of the above, Ozone will give the Customer as much notice as possible.

Ozone has no liability for failure of the users' ability to connect and gaurantee the quality of access to Ozone's access points due to technology limitations on the users' equipment. Ozone will use reasonable endeavors to respond to support queries but cannot be held responsible for any problems due to users' software or hardware.

It is the users' responsibility to logout from Ozone. This may be done manually via http://ozone.status

Should you forget to logout manually, Ozone will automatically disconnect the session after 5 minuets of inactivity. This logout timer may be hindered by any running applications that cause traffic on the users' device. Switching off the WiFi interface or the device ensures that no traffic is generated. Ozone is not responsible for any sessions left active due to negligence and no refunds will be given.


Access to Sites

Ozone does not authorize or guarantee access to any of the Sites for the Customer to use the Service or guarantee that the Service will continue to be available from a specific Site.

Use of the Service

It is the Customer's responsibility to obtain and keep in force any license necessary for the Customer to use the Service in any country in which it is provided.

The Service must not be used in any way that:

a. does not comply with the terms of any legislation or any license applicable to the Customer or that is in any way unlawful;

b. the Customer must indemnify Ozone against any claims or legal proceedings which are brought or threatened   against Ozone by a third party because the Service is used in breach of point a;

c. Ozone will notify the Customer of any such claims or proceedings and keep the Customer informed as to the progress of such claims or proceedings and have due regard to the Customer's representations.


Due to the nature of the Service, the Customer acknowledges and accepts that Ozone does not guarantee the security of the Service against unlawful access or use. The Customer should also ensure adequate internal security policies are implemented to prevent unlawful access to or use of the Service.

The Service must not be used:

  • to send, receive, upload, download, use or re-use any information or material which is offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene or menacing, or in breach of confidence, copyright, privacy or any other rights;

  • to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;

  • to send, provide or receive unsolicited advertising or promotional material;

  • other than in accordance with the acceptable usage policy, the acceptable usage policies of any connected networks and the Internet standards.


Ozone may treat this as a material breach of the Contract that cannot be remedied.


The Customer acknowledges that Ozone has no control over the information transmitted via the Service and that Ozone does not examine the use to which Customers put the Service or the nature of the information they are sending or receiving. Ozone excludes all liability of any kind in relation to such information and use.


Ozone is not liable to the Customer either in contract, responsibility (including negligence) or otherwise, for the acts or omissions of other providers of Telecommunications or Internet Services (including Internet Registration Authorities) or for faults in or failures of their equipment.


Marketing Information

By signing up you agree that Ozone may use the email address and other personal information you have provided to Ozone to undertake market and product analysis.


You understand and agree that Ozone may contact you or send you information about new developments, products, services and special offers by post, telephone or by any form of electronic message (including TXT, PXT, Video PXT, email, WAP and the world wide web).


Despite of the "Data Protection Act (CAP 440)", You agree and acknowledge that any message Ozone sends you will not contain an unsubscribe facility. You understand that you can, at any time, opt out of receiving marketing material by contacting Ozone Customer Care.


You agree and acknowledge that if you opt out of receiving marketing material, Ozone will remove you from its electronic message marketing distribution list, however this removal may take up to 5 business days to take effect. You acknowledge that this means you may continue to receive electronic messages from Ozone for up to 5 business days after the date of your request to be removed from the electronic message marketing distribution list.
